Sunday, January 4, an open house was held at the new Mount Asbury Retreat Center, 1310 Centerville Road, Newville, PA.. The service was led by Bishop Jane Allen Middleton (right, above)and Anne Horton, (left, above) Director of Camping and Retreats. Bishop Middleton prays a blessing over youth exploring call to Christian ministry following a celebration of the Euchrist at St. Paul's UMC in State College on Saturday evening, January 3. Forty-five youth and twenty-five adults attended God's Calling 2009 in State College for the annual weekend conference sponsored by the Enlistment and Interpretation Committee of the Central Pennsylvania Confenence Board of Ordained Ministry.
