God’s Calling - Listen with Your Heart – The purpose of this event is to help you discern your call to ministry. During this event our goal is to assist you in better understanding God’s Call and create a better awareness of the ordained and lay certified ministries. Bishop’s Retreat for Our Clergy Family - This retreat is an excellent resource for pastors who wish to increase their leadership ability in order to assist their congregations in becoming dynamic, healthy churches. Gallery
Bishop’s Confirmation Rallies - Each spring, our Bishop hosts two Confirmation rallies for those youth who are enrolled in a confirmation class at their home church. The rallies provide the opportunity to learn more about our United Methodist heritage and also to hear about the many resources for youth and leaders that our Central PA Conference provides. The rallies are a wonderful tool to enhance the confirmation experience. Gallery

Safe Sanctuaries is required for clergy and strongly recommended for laity responsible for church activities for children, youth, and vulnerable adults. This one-day workshop is based on Joy Melton’s books, Safe Sanctuaries and Safe Sanctuaries for Youth. It covers child abuse, how to draft and implement a local church policy, how to screen workers with children and youth, how to respond if abuse does occur, and explains the CPC insurance policy regarding sexual abuse and molestation.
Annual Conference Sessions – This is the basic body of the United Methodist Church, and it meets in an annual session to conduct the business of the conference. Those who attend Annual Conference Sessions are all clergy, lay members, and lay members-at-large.
Great Escape - In November, youth (grades 6-12), and their adult leaders from across our conference, meet at the Radisson Penn Harris in Camp Hill for a weekend of fellowship, worship, learning and great memories.
Our weekend is a time to get away from work and school and be in the presence of God with other youth from our conference. There are times of worship, workshops, bands, singing, good food, and making new friends. Gallery
